_**About the Author:**_
Vishal Prabhu, finds biographical notes inane in general
and redundant at best. As such, he is 27, a chemical engineer by education, with
a master’s degree from the United States. At his best reckoning with himself, he
identifies only with the vision that he embodies. He believes man’s overall growth
and prosperity and salvation always was and still is in the continuous reformation
of every individual, and now more stringently and immediately so.

_ Shift + Delete _

Columns and columns of icons
Of applications, files, and folders Stationary and
still, like stars suspended On the sky of my computer’s desktop

Haunt me with a heaviness
With their pretense of purpose and effort

I urge to see them disappear
Leaving behind a blank screen With an emptiness that
alone would be bearable
