 Born in 1930, K. R. N. Swamy has been a prolific freelance
writer, specializing in India’s historical heritage since the 1950s. He has published

and _**British Ghosts and Occult India**_. His _Mughals, Maharajas and the Mahatma_
was published by HarperCollins in 1997 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Indian
