_**About the Editors**_
 Born in 1930, K. R. N. Swamy has been a prolific freelance
writer, specializing in India’s historical heritage since the 1950s. He has published
two other books with **Writers Workshop**, India – _**After Ambassadors, Before
Dukes**_ and _**The Mughal Peacock Throne**_. His _Mughals, Maharajas and the Mahatma_
was published by HarperCollins in 1997 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Indian
Independence. All these books exemplify Swamy’s meticulous research in the national
libraries of India, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Born in 1961, Meera Ravi comes from a background where writing and journalism have
been a family tradition for three generations. She began her writing career as a
teenager, has considerable experience as an international correspondent and, at
present, works as Deputy News Editor with the _Bahrain Tribune_.

_**About the Book**_
This book is a collection of 39 true stories of British ghosts
and British occult experiences in India. K. R. N. Swamy offers readers an unusual
and extremely original perspective on the British Raj years – in many cases, quite
literally from beyond the grave! A must read for history lovers and anyone interested
in the para-normal.
