_**About the Book**_

In his note to the book Nair writes:

“This novel depicts the relationship between lovers who are close, yet unable to
touch and feel each other, like planets in adjacent orbits. They crave for a world
where love is God, where service is religion, where technology removes the poverty
of rustic villages. Aditya, who left his superstardom to be the saviour of a poor
village … Gabriel, who invented the cheapest solar lamp for brightening cottages…
Seema, a writer who elevated herself to saintliness through telepathic love … Nancy,
a doctor who sacrificed her medical career and nunhood to be the constant companion
of her soulmate who suddenly turned blind … these are the faces which the reader
may see in dreams about a cosmopolitan, egalitarian world.”
