_**About the Author**_
Siddharth Dasgupta began devouring books at an early age.
From within a mountain of spy classics and eastern European fairytales, it was _The
Little Prince_ that held his imaginations the most. He somehow intuited that a life
of wonder and travel would end up becoming focal narratives in his life.

Wanderlust and its accompanying passions are central to Siddharth’s journeys as
a writer; they imbue a richness of context and character to much of his fiction,
while stirring his non-fiction with a distinctive timbre. His poetry and stories
appear in a wide range of publications and literary journals; his travel and culture
obsessions, meanwhile, are frequent features too.

Siddharth’s debut novel, _Letters from an Indian Summer_ (Fingerprint), has met
with consistent critical acclaim since its release in the winter of 2014. The year
2017 marked the release of a short-story collection – _The Sacred Sorrow of Sparrows_(
Niyogi).

“Cities breed their streets; streets duly birth their designated human
beings; human beings, accordingly, give rise to stories; and in a sense, perhaps
this is how fables come into the world. Using a hypnotic, multi-textured palette
of free verse, prose poetry, flash fiction, flash non-fiction, and homage, _The
Wanderlust Conspiracy_ is both an ode to the lure of horizons infused with bliss,
and a riotous hat tip to the predilections of human hearts – blazing away with lust
and chasing after that consequential rush, as they are. Across sixty-one individual
pieces, Siddharth Dasgupta weaves poetry and poetic narratives with the dexterity
of an astrologer summoning the stars.”
