We are happy to announce that our 19-volume Mahabharata project is now completed,
close to 13 years after Professor P. Lal passed away. The _Anu__śāsana Parva_ (Volume
XIII), translated by Dr Pradip Bhattacharya, was released in October 2023, marking
the end of this massive undertaking.

“At the request of Ananda Lal, I was able to complete the very difficult task of
translating the _Mokshadharma_ portion of the _S__ānti Parva_ (2016). A welcome
opportunity to continue my _daksin__ā _arose when he handed me P. Lal’s copy of
the Gita Press _Anu__śāsana Parva_ volume and asked me to complete the last volume
of the project—a signal honour and a great challenge. The _guru-daksin__ā_ is now
complete,” Dr Bhattacharya explains in his foreword.
